Klow
A combined formulation of four peptides in one vial. Supplied as a lyophilised powder.
- **GHK-Cu** — a copper tripeptide, studied in the context of collagen production.
- **BPC-157** — a pentadecapeptide, studied in models of tissue healing.
- **TB-500** — a fragment of thymosin beta-4, associated with cell migration.
- **KPV** — a tripeptide, a fragment of alpha-MSH, studied in models of inflammation.
KLOW is the established abbreviation for a mixture of four substances, all of
which are also available separately in our catalog:
The strength stated is the **combined mass of all four substances**. The ratio of
the individual components is given in the certificate of analysis for the batch
and differs between manufacturers.
The combination has no mechanism of its own — the action of each component is
described in its own entry. The mixture is built on the assumption that the
substances act at different levels of healing: vessel formation, cell migration,
matrix synthesis and the inflammatory response.
- Tissue healing and remodelling.
- The inflammatory response in skin.
- Comparative studies of mixtures against the individual substances.
There is literature for every component, predominantly preclinical. **For the
combination as a whole there are no controlled studies.** The claim of synergy is
a hypothesis derived from the mechanisms of the individual substances, not a finding.
With mixtures there is the further point that any observed effect cannot be
attributed to a particular component — a fundamental limitation for research use.
If the experiment needs to establish which substance is responsible for what,
the separate items are the better choice.
Both TB-500 and thymosin beta-4 appear on the Prohibited List of the World
Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). This item is a **reference standard intended strictly
for laboratory and research use**. It is neither a medicine nor a cosmetic and we
provide no dosing or health advice with it.
The efficacy and safety of administering this substance to humans are not sufficiently established clinically. The information given here is solely a summary of published research findings, predominantly from laboratory and animal models. It constitutes neither a health claim nor a recommendation for use in humans. The product is intended strictly for research purposes and is not a medicine.

- Solvent
- Bacteriostatic water (Bac Water) — available as a separate item in the Supporting products category.
- Procedure
- Run the solvent down the wall of the vial, not directly onto the lyophilised powder. Do not shake the vial — swirl gently until fully dissolved.
- Note
- We provide no dosing protocols and no recommendations for use in humans. What is given here are laboratory handling procedures only.
- Lyophilised (unreconstituted)
- −20 °C, in the dark, in the original packaging.
- After reconstitution
- 2–8 °C, protected from light. Do not refreeze repeatedly.
- Transport
- Neutral packaging, no cold chain. A short-term rise in temperature during transit has no material effect on the lyophilised powder.
