At present we use only technically necessary browser storage. No analytics or advertising cookies run here.

1. What runs here at the moment

Let us be specific. This website **currently uses no analytics or advertising

cookies** and has no third-party scripts integrated.

It uses only local browser storage (localStorage) for two things:

`up_ruo_ack_v1`	remembers that you confirmed being 18+ and what the products are for	until browser data is cleared
`up_cart_v1`	the contents of the cart, so it is not lost when moving between pages	until browser data is cleared

This storage is technically necessary for the site to work. Without it the

site would ask your age on every click and the cart would empty itself.

That is why no consent is required for it by law.

The data in this storage never leaves your browser. We do not send it

anywhere and we have no access to it.

In your browser: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → "Cookies and site data".
Or use a private window, where the storage is discarded when you close it.

Once cleared, the site will ask you to confirm your age again and the cart will

be empty.

When we launch the real shop, cookies we do not have now will be added:

Technical — signing in to an account, a server-side cart session, form protection. No consent needed, they are necessary.
Analytics — measuring traffic. Only with your consent, and they load only once it has been given.
Payment gateway — the payment provider's cookies during payment.

At that point we will add the specific list here and put a consent banner on the

site. Until then there is nothing to consent to — and we do not want a banner

here that asks for consent to something that does not exist.

Because it would be pointless and misleading. A banner makes sense when there is

something to refuse. Technically necessary storage cannot be refused — the site

does not work without it — and nothing else runs here.

This document describes the actual state of the static website. Once the shop

is deployed it must be rewritten to match what is actually in place, and a

consent banner with the option to refuse analytics must be added.
